It’s a good time of year to have quick and easy appetizers in mind. These shells are no secret but I do forget about them sometimes. They’re perfect for elegant little bites!

You’ll find these in your freezer section of the grocery store. They are usually near puff pastry and pie crust. I think they are quite popular during the holidays because I had to search a few stores to find them recently. So-stock up! Keep a few boxes in your freezer for a go-to appetizer.

These are as basic as a cracker, so you can top them with anything, savory or sweet.

The combinations in my photo are based on what I had in my refrigerator.

-Cream Cheese with Chives+Cherry Tomato slice+Green Onions

-Brie+Apricot Jam+Walnut

-Provolone+Salami+Half an Olive

  • I filled them and baked in the oven at 350°F for 8 minutes.

  • You can use them cold as well - no baking!

I can imagine a different combo for every day of the year, honestly. Endless possibilities!

Some additional ideas:

-Chicken Salad

-Pimento Cheese+Crisp Bacon

-Crab Dip

-Spinach Artichoke Dip

-Veggie Dip+Minced Cucumber

-Mozzarella+Cherry Tomato+Balsamic Glaze

-Boursin Cheese+Pecans+Honey

-Goat Cheese+Roasted Red Pepper+Chopped Almonds

-Mascarpone/Cream Cheese+Chopped Nuts+Honey

Enjoy!
