The color of summer!
When the leaves turn green outside and the temperature starts to warm up It’s time for Aperol spritz!
You can find Aperol spritz at lots of restaurants AND they’re easy to make at home.
INGREDIENTS
Aperol, you’ll find this bright orange aperitif at the liquor store.
Sparkling wine, you know where to find this ;) Prosecco works well.
Soda water or sparkling water
Orange slices or peel
INSTRUCTIONS
I make this easy and I typically don’t measure anything. It’s a summertime, outside, relax and unwind kind of drink. No one needs a recipe for that!
Fill a glass with ice-preferably clear so you can admire that bright Aperol color.
Now pour in quantities of half Aperol, half sparkling wine and a good splash of sparkling water. If you have no sparkling water...add another splash of wine.
I stir my drink after adding everything but many restaurants serve it without stirring because the color graduation is sooo pretty. Top with orange and head outside to enjoy!
